The standard of the base engine is 2.6i that will be the 6-speed of manual transmission that comes along with the hill-holder feature, whereas the CVT is an optional. The Legacy 2.5i with the CVT can sprint from zero to about 60 mph in 9.4 seconds. The top model 3.6R boast a 3.6 liter boxer of 6-cylinder engine, and this will produce about 256 hp and 247 lb-ft of torque. However, the only available transmission of this new Subaru Legacy is the automatic 5-speed with shift paddles. The 3.6R can run in 7.1 seconds from stand still to 60 mph.
